Kimby Shult, is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern who is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to gain insight about current problems and create change. She believes that all clients possess the ability to produce positive change in their lives; sometimes they just need somebody outside of the family system (like a therapist) to help them recognize their problematic patterns of behavior. Kimby believes that through small, specific, and intentional steps big changes can occur. Additionally, she values the various perspectives through which individuals approach life. While much time in therapy may be spent talking about what is not going well, Kimby also likes to help clients discover and utilize their already existing strengths. |
